Registration and Tech Info for All Classes

Registration for all classes:
Registration opens at 9 AM on Friday 1/31 for all classes. At registration you will be asked for the best way to contact you on the lake bed, and what race frequency you plan to run. Please bring your frequency number with you. You will pick up your driver packets. Packets will include paper copies of the course maps, pit maps and your parking stickers. If you have not signed up for USAC, you will be able to do so on site. New cars that were not teched in 2013 will also need to schedule a tech time at registration (see tech info below). Remember to have to bring an SD card or appropriate cables for your GPS Unit for course downloads!
While the entire team does not need to be present for drivers to register: All drivers, co-drivers and pit crew members will need to visit registration prior to race day to sign paperwork and receive wrist bands. Pit bands are $25 or drivers who have already purchased a spectator band can upgrade to a pit band for a signature and $5.
Registration Schedule is as follows:
Fri. 1/31: 9AM – 4PM
Sat. 2/1: 9AM – 4PM
Sun 2/2: 10AM – 2PM
Mon 2/3: 10AM – 2PM
Tues. 2/4: 10AM – 2PM
Wed. 2/5 10AM – 2PM AND 7PM – 9PM
Thurs. 2/6 6AM – 8AM (EMC PIT BANDS ONLY – Cost is $50 a pit band for last minute pit crew members.)
Thurs. 2/6 10AM – 2PM AND 7PM – 9PM (pit bands will be the regular $25 at this time)
Fri. 2/7 6AM – 8AM – Cost is $50 a pit band for last minute pit crew members
Tech Inspection for Cars/Trucks/UTVS/Motos
New 4400,4500,4600,4800 Cars:
If your car was not teched in 2013 and does not have a metal tech band, you will need to schedule a tech appointment time at registration.Tech Appointment Times will be available Monday – Wednesday from 8AM-6PM. You must book an appointment when you sign in atregistration. You will be given the first available tech time unless the time conflicts with your qualifying. Please be aware of what day you are qualifying when you go to registration!
Already Teched 4400, 4500, 4600 and 4800 Cars:
If your car was teched in 2013 and you have a metal tech band, bring all your race gear with you to the contingency on Wednesday at 5PM. Re-checks of your car and race gear will be done during contingency.
UTV Class:
All UTV vehicles should be brought to the UTV Driver’s meeting at 6PM on Tuesday. If you have a team member, that can stay with your vehicle for tech inspection, your vehicle will be teched during the driver’s meeting. If not, you can tech your UTV immediately following the driver’s meeting.
Motos:
Tech inspection will be done by Jimmy Lewis and his crew in the Motos Compound in the 100 Block of Trail Gear Ave. Tech is Friday from 3-5 PM and Saturday from 10 AM – 2 PM in the Motos camping area.
