Miller Welders Expands Ultra4 Racing Sponsorship beyond Griffin King of the Hammers Presented by Nitto Tire
Free Product Access, Weld Repair now Available to Race Participants at all Ultra 4 Events
APPLETON, Wis. (Jan. 10, 2014)  — Miller Welders is excited to sign on as the official welding sponsor of the Ultra 4 Racing Series. As a result of the expanded partnership, all race participants attending the Johnson Valley, Calif.-based 2014 Griffin King of the Hammers (KOH race) and all other events in the series will have free access to welding and cutting products for onsite repair and pit support needs.
For the previous two years, Miller Welders sponsored only the KOH race, living in the desert alongside the racers and spectators during the annual week-long event.
“We were able to experience how our products were used in countless welding repair situations, as well as to connect with racers from every level as to how welding was used in the fabrication of their vehicle, said John Swartz, Marketing Manager for Miller Welders. “Knowing that our machines can hold up and perform in the harsh desert environment should provide customers with confidence that products will provide years of operation in any race shop or home garage.”
The welding and cutting products will be housed in an Ultra 4 Series trailer which will travel to and from each event. During the King of the Hammers events, race participants can access the trailer located in Hammertown. The Fab School, Blue Torch Fabworks and Miller Motorsports, all friends and partners of Miller Welders, will also be onsite to provide welding assistance and pit support in Johnson Valley.
In addition, Jason Carner and Peter Basler of Blue Torch Fabworks will field a custom-built Miller Welders-branded race vehicle for the KOH race featuring innovative new products from their line of do-it-yourself parts and kits for custom off-road fabrication projects.
“Miller Welders would like to wish all the racers the best of luck this year and hopes for another wildly successful event for Ultra 4 Series Executive Director Dave Cole.”
